We brought tubes from home and enjoyed tubing in the Potomac river, just a short walk from the property. The host Tom went out of his way to make sure we had a great time and even took us on a memorable wagon ride. The property is perfect for just sitting and relaxing or adventure/ exploring!Verified What a beautiful retreat in nature with a balance of nice amenities. The kids loved the HUGE playground, spring-fed pond (chilly, but fun), enchanted forest, and wagon ride! Adults appreciated a clean indoor toilet, a/c in the cabins, and great options for indoor/outdoor cooking and eating. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been thoughtfully designed to offer the perfect blend of nature, relaxation, and luxury.The cabins were stunning — spacious, beautifully furnished, and immaculately clean. The plush bed, cozy blankets, and ambient lighting made it feel like a five-star hotel room nestled in the heart of the wilderness. Waking up to the sounds of birds and a soft morning breeze, with a cup of freshly brewed coffee in hand, was pure magic. The site itself was a dream. Secluded yet secure, it offered just enough privacy while still being close to amenities. We enjoyed a campfire under the stars, a tranquil walk through nearby trails, and every family member (including the furry ones) especially loved the pond with paddle boat!This glamping getaway was the perfect reset — and we can’t wait to come back!!Verified This was the perfect place for our families to come together and feel like camping, but with some really convenient amenities (hot water/shower! Fully stocked kitchen! Linens provided!) Some of our kiddos preferred to camp, so Tom showed us a few options for the best place to set up tents. It was perfect for our dogs who joined too. We planned to leave for dinner our 2nd night but everyone was just so happy being there, no one wanted to leave. We were so happy we brought bikes - the site literally overlooks the Tow Path! Tom was very hospitable from the moment we arrived and continued to offer us generous activities if we were interested. The cabins were very clean and well maintained. Truly the best of both worlds as we loved having a camping experience with the luxery of a comfy bed at night! Not to mention the handy kitchen, bathroom building, and an outdoor shower! Beautiful property with a lovely enchanted forest, a pond that we explored, trails that we walked. The variety of woodland creatures that we saw! All were perfect for the fairy party birthday and nature scavenger hunt we had! We had such a great time we did not want to leave!
