We had 3 families staying over — the kids absolutely loved the huge playground (it’s even bigger than in the photos!) and sleeping in the cabin with 2 lofts. Tom showed us around the spacious property and even took us for a bonus hay ride. The kitchen cabin has everything you need (even an electric griddle for breakfast) and the fire pit with wood included was awesome. We were a little worried about just having 1 bathroom but it turned out not to be a problem. All in all a great place with a lot of character. The property is beautiful and so much to do/explore on the property. We brought tubes from home and enjoyed tubing in the Potomac river, just a short walk from the property. The host Tom went out of his way to make sure we had a great time and even took us on a memorable wagon ride. The property is perfect for just sitting and relaxing or adventure/ exploring!Verified What a beautiful retreat in nature with a balance of nice amenities. The kids loved the HUGE playground, spring-fed pond (chilly, but fun), enchanted forest, and wagon ride! Adults appreciated a clean indoor toilet, a/c in the cabins, and great options for indoor/outdoor cooking and eating. The hosts are lovely and helpful!Verified We held a girl's reading retreat at this location and everything was wonderful. Place was very clean and comfortable. Surroundings and setting were perfect. Loved every minute of our stay and the bonus wagon ride was awesome! Would highly recommend this location. Perfect for a family get away.
