One of the reasons every Timber Valley Trailblazer ride is different is that nature doesn’t follow a schedule.

As we travel the quiet back roads of Western Maryland, we occasionally come across wildlife crossing the road. Whenever it is safe to do so, Tom may stop to help a turtle or a non-venomous snake safely reach the other side before continuing the journey.

On one ride, we found a beautiful black rat snake crossing the road. After moving it to safety, one of our adventurous guests asked if they could hold it for a photo. It quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of the day and a memory they’ll likely never forget.

These unexpected encounters are part of what makes the Timber Valley Trailblazer so unique.
