Our three cabins offer the perfect home base for your autumn adventure. Each cabin features AC and Heat, accommodating up to 15 people total (5 per cabin). There is nothing quite like waking up in the heart of a Private Campgrounds Western Maryland Retreat, surrounded by the vibrant colors of the forest, while staying perfectly warm and comfortable inside.

The moss-covered boulders of our “Enchanted Forest” take on a mystical quality in the fall. The contrast of the deep green moss against the fallen orange leaves creates an “enchanted forest” vibe that is a dream for family photography. It is a favorite area for both adults and kids to explore the large boulder walkways and hidden stone paths.

Every guest is treated to a free “hay wagon” ride around our 100-acre farm. During the fall, this tour is spectacular. We stop at the hand-dug well and the spring-fed pond, showing you how the landscape prepares for winter. You’ll see the wild sunflowers spreading their seeds, a natural process aided by the goldfinches and bluebirds that call our 20+ nesting boxes home.
